Kaiyuan Hengtai Chemical Co.,Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise, focusing on the R&D, producing and manufacturing of food supplements. Anhydrous ethanol is the raw material for the enterprise's products. Faced with the pneumonia outbreak caused by novel Coronavirus, the enterprise assumed social responsibility actively and donated 10 tons medical alcohol, which was worth more than ¥ 30,0000. Mr. Teng Zhengxin, general manager of the enterprise, told reporters that after the pneumonia outbreak, Mr. An Rongchang, chairman of the enterprise, arranged workers immediately to adjust the anhydrous ethanol into 75% medical alcohol, which was distributed to employees free for charge. He also decided to take out the anhydrous ethanol stored during the Spring Festival, adjusted them into 10 tons medical alcohol, and donated them to the government to help fight against the epidemic. In order to ensure the materials to the front line against the epidemic, Teng Zhengxin organized enterprise workers to adjust and equip materials. Kaiyuan emergency management Bureau and enterprises formulated jointly the material distribution plan and instructions of safety technology, arranged and deployed staff to assist the factory to distribute alcohol to all towns (streets), public security bureau, market supervision administration, urban development service center, government office service center and other government offices. All 10 tons medical alcohol were distributed over on Jan. 31th,2020.
"As the whole nation fighting against the epidemic, everyone should shoulder their responsibilities. Private enterprises must shoulder their social responsibilities and contribute to the fight against the epidemic in Kaiyuan and tide over the difficulties together with the people of the whole city." Teng Zhengxin said.
KaiYuan emergency management Bureau director Yu Shuxin gave praise to Kaiyuan Hengtai Chemical Co.,Ltd which acts are full of positive energy. Yu Shuxin said, "The disease is merciless and people have feelings. In the face of novel Coronavirus, the enterprise's righteous act reflects the enterprise's responsibility and dedication, and more important, it is powerful force to overcome the epidemic. We also hope that more caring enterprises and people will join the ranks of public welfare against epidemic."
